The Wade Hotel - Chicago

I was met by professional and helpful staff at the lobby.

It is a functional and modern property located in Magnificent Mile district so close to Magnificent Mile and a ' W ' establishment. I truly enjoyed super-friendly personnel that ensures guests have a really amazing stay. The breakfast is free and amazing with bacon and 3 waffles eggs, as example, had everything you could imagine. The location is MARVELLOUS, on the parade or anything that's happening in the area.

The wonderful room with two double beds and a city view was spacious, modern, and super clean. The location is perfect, just a short walk to everything! Plus, the staff was friendly, even helping me find my lost debit card.

Excellent overall experience. It has nice location and rooms, free wi-fi. The staff is helpful and pleasant, makes sure that the place is fairly clean. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of Downtown Chicago. The hotel is in a local area.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to many attractions. The fitness center is well-equipped and perfect for morning workouts. Service was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options 🥞

Room was small for the money Music in both bars was so loud that it turned us away; obviously popular with a different crowd, though!

The location and the view.

The room was very small. There is no privacy in the bathroom. Only shutters separate the bathroom from the room. Every noise made in the bathroom is clearly heard by any other guests in the room. The door to the bathroom was a sliding piece of bamboo. The bathroom is what I disliked about our hotel room.

I stayed in a Lovely King Room with a lake view. The room was really nice and exactly like the pictures. The view was insane! There were a few spiders near the window which was a bit creepy. Not the hotel's fault, but still kind of gross. The room felt spacious and modern. It had a good vibe, and the lobby was pretty cool too!

Cost.

They charged an extra $500+ to my credit card after I had checked out, so I had to deal with that. The previous time I stayed they assigned us to not one but two rooms that already had shocked occupants in them when we walked in.

The Fabulous King Room with a fine lake view was very nice, setting a perfect mood for our stay. A DJ at the bar added to the lively atmosphere, and the food options was so great. The absence of a microwave and coffee maker in the room was disappointing and made it inconvenient for late-night snacks. Valet parking at $75 felt exorbitant, and the congestion in the surrounding area made navigation challenging.

Nothing - it was a nightmare

We were given a smoking room when confirmation said strictly non smoking. Asked to be moved and was told hotel was full so not possible. Was told Booked.net booked that room. Room smelt like an ash tray. Were only moved after 2 nights to a better room. Tried to get a refund and were refused. Service and attitude was poor. Would never stay at a w hotel again. We telephoned Booked.net and they were told that we were offered another hotel which is a categorical lie.
